How to get the most from a reading

When you go to a psychic for a consultation, you expect them to have some kind of special power. However, your perception of this is different from the reality of the psychic’s ability or "so called" power. Having realistic expectations about psychic powers is the best way to get the most value from a psychic reading.

Educate yourself on the types of readings available. Some psychics use tools such as tarot cards, tea leaves, palmistry, etc.. Other psychics use clairvoyance, telepathy and precognition without the aid of a tool to do a reading. There is not "one" best method. Psychics use the tool to enter the psychic mode.

Determine the reason you want a psychic reading before you choose the type of reading.  If you are just looking for entertainment, then your choice in a psychic or type of reading is not limited. If you need to make an important decision or need guidance, then choose a psychic that can offer you their higher sense of perception as a consultant.

Look at the psychic reading as a tool rather than a true prediction of your future. Psychics offer insights into your life. It is the responsibility of the person being read to either accept and work with the insights or ignore them.

Realize that psychics can not see your entire future, nor are they infallible. Psychics do not have complete control of the psychic gift, so they do not always see everything they want to see. Psychic impressions are usually received in symbols or as a clue to a larger scene. These impressions are also subject to interpretations and sometimes difficult for a psychic to distinguish between a future fact or future possibility. You can not expect 100% accuracy from a psychic or from anyone else including doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc.. Do not accept any information blindly, from anyone.

Psychics are not in a psychic mode 24 hours a day. You can not expect a psychic to answer your question just because you are near a psychic. Psychics do not pop in and out of the psychic mode all day long. Psychics need preparation time to enter the right frame of mind to receive impressions. This is usually done in the time allotted.
