When Jane Doherty consciously acknowledged her psychic ability, she never intended to be a professional psychic. However, Jane was forced to accept her new profession after demonstrations of her psychic talents led to many requests for readings as well as her other paranormal abilities. Jane joyfully shares her gifts and gratefully acknowledges God for the divine inspiration to guide, advise and to teach others how to create a better future with the right use of their free will as well as the ways of spirit. Jane has been featured in most New Jersey newspapers, as well as the New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer, and Woman's World Magazine. Jane has appeared on the Weekend Edition of the TODAY SHOW, several episodes of Sightings, NBC House Party as well as New Jersey's Talking on NEWS12. Currently, Jane is a radio personality on two bi-weekly psychic call-in shows on WCTC 1450AM and WJHR 1040AM. "I feel that it's very important to teach people what I do," says Jane. "We all have the potential to develop our own intuitive abilities, and once you're able to tap into them, you also gain a better understanding of how to deal with many of your problems." Prior to being a psychic, ghostbuster, lecturer, and hypnotist, Jane was a high school English teacher. She holds a B.A. from Trenton State College in Speech Arts. When she isn't working with her clients, Jane spends most of her time as a lecturer and teaches courses in the paranormal, as well as relaxation training. As a young girl, Jane would often stare trancelike out her bedroom window while images from the past and future appeared in her mind. She just assumed this was a natural part of everyone's mind. During her teens, Jane pursued her interest in Astrology, but it was an out-of-body experience she had later in life that convinced her to begin looking into the phenomena more seriously. Although she was skeptical at first, Jane's curiosity about the paranormal led her to the doors of over one-hundred psychics, all of whom came up with similar findings about her past and future. But the true test of her belief came while Jane was in hypnosis. In an altered state of consciousness certain images kept returning to her. According to Jane, that was the first real indication of her own psychic potential. She acquired the ability to go quickly into a deep trance. This eventually resulted in the discovery that she was not only clairvoyant but she could see and hear spirits. As a ghost investigator, Jane has been the subject of numerous newspaper and magazine articles, as well as radio and television appearances. Jane's first investigation came in 1986 when someone called the JSP office asking if she could investigate what they believed to be a ghost in their house. Here is a listing of the various television and newspaper articles that have featured Jane's abilities.
